How To Uninstall openbabel-dbg On Debian 9

To uninstall openbabel-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just openbabel-dbg

Chemical toolbox library (debugging symbols)Debian 9.0debug2.3.2+dfsg-3
sudo apt-get remove openbabel-dbg

This will remove just the openbabel-dbg package itself.

Uninstall openbabel-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove openbabel-dbg

This will remove the openbabel-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for openbabel-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge openbabel-dbg

Or similarly, like this openbabel-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove openbabel-dbg
