How To Uninstall opencv-data On Debian 9

To uninstall opencv-data just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just opencv-data

linuxdevelopment data for opencvlibdevel2.4.9.1+dfsg1-2
sudo apt-get remove opencv-data

This will remove just the opencv-data package itself.

Uninstall opencv-data and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove opencv-data

This will remove the opencv-data package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for opencv-data then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge opencv-data

Or similarly, like this opencv-data

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove opencv-data
