How To Uninstall opendkim On Debian 9

To uninstall opendkim just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just opendkim

linuxMilter implementation of DomainKeys Identified Mailmail2.11.0~alpha-10
sudo apt-get remove opendkim

This will remove just the opendkim package itself.

Uninstall opendkim and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove opendkim

This will remove the opendkim package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for opendkim then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge opendkim

Or similarly, like this opendkim

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove opendkim
