How To Uninstall opendnssec-signer On Debian 9

To uninstall opendnssec-signer just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just opendnssec-signer

daemon to sign DNS zone files periodicallyDebian 9.0admin1:2.0.4-3
sudo apt-get remove opendnssec-signer

This will remove just the opendnssec-signer package itself.

Uninstall opendnssec-signer and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove opendnssec-signer

This will remove the opendnssec-signer package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for opendnssec-signer then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge opendnssec-signer

Or similarly, like this opendnssec-signer

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove opendnssec-signer
