How To Uninstall openhpi-clients On Debian 9

To uninstall openhpi-clients just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just openhpi-clients

linuxOpenHPI example client programsadmin3.6.1-2.2
sudo apt-get remove openhpi-clients

This will remove just the openhpi-clients package itself.

Uninstall openhpi-clients and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove openhpi-clients

This will remove the openhpi-clients package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for openhpi-clients then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge openhpi-clients

Or similarly, like this openhpi-clients

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove openhpi-clients
