How To Uninstall openni2-utils On Debian 9

To uninstall openni2-utils just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just openni2-utils

linuxdebug and test utilities OpenNI2 frameworkutils2.2.0.33+dfsg-7
sudo apt-get remove openni2-utils

This will remove just the openni2-utils package itself.

Uninstall openni2-utils and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove openni2-utils

This will remove the openni2-utils package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for openni2-utils then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge openni2-utils

Or similarly, like this openni2-utils

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove openni2-utils
