How To Uninstall opensaml2-tools On Debian 9

To uninstall opensaml2-tools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just opensaml2-tools

linuxSecurity Assertion Markup Language command-line toolstext2.6.0-4
sudo apt-get remove opensaml2-tools

This will remove just the opensaml2-tools package itself.

Uninstall opensaml2-tools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove opensaml2-tools

This will remove the opensaml2-tools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for opensaml2-tools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge opensaml2-tools

Or similarly, like this opensaml2-tools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove opensaml2-tools
