How To Uninstall oregano On Debian 9

To uninstall oregano just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just oregano

linuxtool for schematical capture of electronic circuitsgnome0.70-3+b1
sudo apt-get remove oregano

This will remove just the oregano package itself.

Uninstall oregano and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove oregano

This will remove the oregano package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for oregano then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge oregano

Or similarly, like this oregano

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove oregano
