How To Uninstall osinfo-db-tools On Debian 9

To uninstall osinfo-db-tools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just osinfo-db-tools

linuxlibosinfo database toolsdevel1.1.0-1
sudo apt-get remove osinfo-db-tools

This will remove just the osinfo-db-tools package itself.

Uninstall osinfo-db-tools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove osinfo-db-tools

This will remove the osinfo-db-tools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for osinfo-db-tools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge osinfo-db-tools

Or similarly, like this osinfo-db-tools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove osinfo-db-tools
