How To Uninstall osmium-tool On Debian 9

To uninstall osmium-tool just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just osmium-tool

linuxCommand line tool for working with OpenStreetMap datautils1.5.1-1
sudo apt-get remove osmium-tool

This will remove just the osmium-tool package itself.

Uninstall osmium-tool and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove osmium-tool

This will remove the osmium-tool package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for osmium-tool then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge osmium-tool

Or similarly, like this osmium-tool

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove osmium-tool
