How To Uninstall osspd-pulseaudio On Debian 9

To uninstall osspd-pulseaudio just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just osspd-pulseaudio

OSS Proxy DaemonDebian 9.0sound1.3.2-7+b1
sudo apt-get remove osspd-pulseaudio

This will remove just the osspd-pulseaudio package itself.

Uninstall osspd-pulseaudio and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove osspd-pulseaudio

This will remove the osspd-pulseaudio package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for osspd-pulseaudio then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge osspd-pulseaudio

Or similarly, like this osspd-pulseaudio

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove osspd-pulseaudio
