How To Uninstall otcl-dbg On Debian 9

To uninstall otcl-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just otcl-dbg

debug symbol of OTcl (libotcl1 and otcl-shells)Debian 9.0debug1.14+dfsg-3+b1
sudo apt-get remove otcl-dbg

This will remove just the otcl-dbg package itself.

Uninstall otcl-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove otcl-dbg

This will remove the otcl-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for otcl-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge otcl-dbg

Or similarly, like this otcl-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove otcl-dbg
