How To Uninstall otf-trace On Debian 9

To uninstall otf-trace just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just otf-trace

Open Trace Format support library - development filesDebian 9.0science1.12.5+dfsg-2+b2
sudo apt-get remove otf-trace

This will remove just the otf-trace package itself.

Uninstall otf-trace and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove otf-trace

This will remove the otf-trace package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for otf-trace then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge otf-trace

Or similarly, like this otf-trace

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove otf-trace
