How To Uninstall otp On Debian 9

To uninstall otp just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just otp

linuxGenerator for One Time Pads or Passwordsmisc1:1.2.2-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove otp

This will remove just the otp package itself.

Uninstall otp and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove otp

This will remove the otp package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for otp then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge otp

Or similarly, like this otp

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove otp
