How To Uninstall owhttpd On Debian 9

To uninstall owhttpd just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just owhttpd

linuxHTTP daemon providing access to 1-Wire networkselectronics3.1p5-1
sudo apt-get remove owhttpd

This will remove just the owhttpd package itself.

Uninstall owhttpd and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove owhttpd

This will remove the owhttpd package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for owhttpd then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge owhttpd

Or similarly, like this owhttpd

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove owhttpd
