How To Uninstall pawserv On Debian 9

To uninstall pawserv just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just pawserv

CERNLIB data analysis suite - distributed PAW and file transfer serversDebian 9.0net20061220+dfsg3-4.3
sudo apt-get remove pawserv

This will remove just the pawserv package itself.

Uninstall pawserv and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove pawserv

This will remove the pawserv package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for pawserv then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge pawserv

Or similarly, like this pawserv

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove pawserv
