How To Uninstall pd-csound On Debian 9

To uninstall pd-csound just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just pd-csound

Csound external for PureDataDebian 9.0sound1:6.08.0~dfsg-1
sudo apt-get remove pd-csound

This will remove just the pd-csound package itself.

Uninstall pd-csound and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove pd-csound

This will remove the pd-csound package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for pd-csound then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge pd-csound

Or similarly, like this pd-csound

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove pd-csound
