How To Uninstall pi On Debian 9

To uninstall pi just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just pi

Compute Archimedes' constant Pi to arbitrary precisionDebian 9.0math1.3.4-2+b1
sudo apt-get remove pi

This will remove just the pi package itself.

Uninstall pi and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove pi

This will remove the pi package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for pi then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge pi

Or similarly, like this pi

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove pi
