How To Uninstall pmake On Debian 9

To uninstall pmake just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just pmake

NetBSD make (transitional package)Debian 9.0devel20160220-2
sudo apt-get remove pmake

This will remove just the pmake package itself.

Uninstall pmake and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove pmake

This will remove the pmake package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for pmake then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge pmake

Or similarly, like this pmake

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove pmake
