How To Uninstall postgresql-9.6-citus On Debian 9

To uninstall postgresql-9.6-citus just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just postgresql-9.6-citus

sharding and distributed joins for PostgreSQLDebian 9.0database6.0.1.PGDG-1
sudo apt-get remove postgresql-9.6-citus

This will remove just the postgresql-9.6-citus package itself.

Uninstall postgresql-9.6-citus and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove postgresql-9.6-citus

This will remove the postgresql-9.6-citus package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for postgresql-9.6-citus then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge postgresql-9.6-citus

Or similarly, like this postgresql-9.6-citus

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove postgresql-9.6-citus
