How To Uninstall python-argvalidate On Debian 9

To uninstall python-argvalidate just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-argvalidate

simple argument validator libraryDebian 9.0python0.9.0-2
sudo apt-get remove python-argvalidate

This will remove just the python-argvalidate package itself.

Uninstall python-argvalidate and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-argvalidate

This will remove the python-argvalidate package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-argvalidate then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-argvalidate

Or similarly, like this python-argvalidate

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-argvalidate
