How To Uninstall python-astroplan On Debian 9

To uninstall python-astroplan just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-astroplan

Observation planning package for astronomers (Python 2)Debian 9.0python0.2-5
sudo apt-get remove python-astroplan

This will remove just the python-astroplan package itself.

Uninstall python-astroplan and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-astroplan

This will remove the python-astroplan package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-astroplan then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-astroplan

Or similarly, like this python-astroplan

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-astroplan
