How To Uninstall python-audit On Debian 9

To uninstall python-audit just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-audit

Python bindings for security auditingDebian 9.0python1:2.6.7-2
sudo apt-get remove python-audit

This will remove just the python-audit package itself.

Uninstall python-audit and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-audit

This will remove the python-audit package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-audit then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-audit

Or similarly, like this python-audit

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-audit
