How To Uninstall python-barbican On Debian 9

To uninstall python-barbican just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-barbican

OpenStack Key Management Service - Python filesDebian 9.0python1:3.0.0-3
sudo apt-get remove python-barbican

This will remove just the python-barbican package itself.

Uninstall python-barbican and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-barbican

This will remove the python-barbican package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-barbican then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-barbican

Or similarly, like this python-barbican

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-barbican
