How To Uninstall python-celery-common On Debian 9

To uninstall python-celery-common just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-celery-common

async task/job queue based on message passing (common files)Debian 9.0python3.1.23-7
sudo apt-get remove python-celery-common

This will remove just the python-celery-common package itself.

Uninstall python-celery-common and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-celery-common

This will remove the python-celery-common package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-celery-common then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-celery-common

Or similarly, like this python-celery-common

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-celery-common
