How To Uninstall python-cinder On Debian 9

To uninstall python-cinder just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-cinder

OpenStack block storage system - Python librariesDebian 9.0python2:9.0.0-4
sudo apt-get remove python-cinder

This will remove just the python-cinder package itself.

Uninstall python-cinder and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-cinder

This will remove the python-cinder package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-cinder then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-cinder

Or similarly, like this python-cinder

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-cinder
