How To Uninstall python-dictclient On Debian 9

To uninstall python-dictclient just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-dictclient

Python client library for DICT (RFC2229) protocolDebian 9.0python1.0.3.1+nmu2
sudo apt-get remove python-dictclient

This will remove just the python-dictclient package itself.

Uninstall python-dictclient and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-dictclient

This will remove the python-dictclient package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-dictclient then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-dictclient

Or similarly, like this python-dictclient

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-dictclient
