How To Uninstall python-pyassimp On Debian 9

To uninstall python-pyassimp just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-pyassimp

3D model import library (Python bindings)Debian 9.0python3.3.1~dfsg-4
sudo apt-get remove python-pyassimp

This will remove just the python-pyassimp package itself.

Uninstall python-pyassimp and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-pyassimp

This will remove the python-pyassimp package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-pyassimp then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-pyassimp

Or similarly, like this python-pyassimp

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-pyassimp
