How To Uninstall python3-astroid On Debian 9

To uninstall python3-astroid just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python3-astroid

rebuild a new abstract syntax tree from Python's AST (Python3)Debian 9.0python1.4.9-1
sudo apt-get remove python3-astroid

This will remove just the python3-astroid package itself.

Uninstall python3-astroid and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python3-astroid

This will remove the python3-astroid package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python3-astroid then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python3-astroid

Or similarly, like this python3-astroid

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python3-astroid
