How To Uninstall python3-cmd2 On Debian 9

To uninstall python3-cmd2 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python3-cmd2

enhanced Python cmd module - Python 3.xDebian 9.0python0.6.9-1
sudo apt-get remove python3-cmd2

This will remove just the python3-cmd2 package itself.

Uninstall python3-cmd2 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python3-cmd2

This will remove the python3-cmd2 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python3-cmd2 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python3-cmd2

Or similarly, like this python3-cmd2

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python3-cmd2
