How To Uninstall r-bioc-biobase On Debian 9

To uninstall r-bioc-biobase just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just r-bioc-biobase

base functions for BioconductorDebian 9.0gnu-r2.34.0-1
sudo apt-get remove r-bioc-biobase

This will remove just the r-bioc-biobase package itself.

Uninstall r-bioc-biobase and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove r-bioc-biobase

This will remove the r-bioc-biobase package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for r-bioc-biobase then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge r-bioc-biobase

Or similarly, like this r-bioc-biobase

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove r-bioc-biobase
