How To Uninstall r-bioc-biomart On Debian 9

To uninstall r-bioc-biomart just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just r-bioc-biomart

GNU R Interface to BioMart databases (Ensembl, COSMIC, Wormbase and Gramene)Debian 9.0gnu-r2.30.0-1
sudo apt-get remove r-bioc-biomart

This will remove just the r-bioc-biomart package itself.

Uninstall r-bioc-biomart and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove r-bioc-biomart

This will remove the r-bioc-biomart package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for r-bioc-biomart then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge r-bioc-biomart

Or similarly, like this r-bioc-biomart

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove r-bioc-biomart
