How To Uninstall r-bioc-dnacopy On Debian 9

To uninstall r-bioc-dnacopy just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just r-bioc-dnacopy

R packageDebian 9.0gnu-r1.48.0-1
sudo apt-get remove r-bioc-dnacopy

This will remove just the r-bioc-dnacopy package itself.

Uninstall r-bioc-dnacopy and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove r-bioc-dnacopy

This will remove the r-bioc-dnacopy package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for r-bioc-dnacopy then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge r-bioc-dnacopy

Or similarly, like this r-bioc-dnacopy

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove r-bioc-dnacopy
