How To Uninstall r-bioc-genomicalignments On Debian 9

To uninstall r-bioc-genomicalignments just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just r-bioc-genomicalignments

BioConductor representation and manipulation of short genomic alignmentsDebian 9.0gnu-r1.10.0-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove r-bioc-genomicalignments

This will remove just the r-bioc-genomicalignments package itself.

Uninstall r-bioc-genomicalignments and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove r-bioc-genomicalignments

This will remove the r-bioc-genomicalignments package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for r-bioc-genomicalignments then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge r-bioc-genomicalignments
