How To Uninstall r-bioc-phyloseq On Debian 9

To uninstall r-bioc-phyloseq just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just r-bioc-phyloseq

GNU R handling and analysis of high-throughput microbiome census dataDebian 9.0gnu-r1.19.1-2
sudo apt-get remove r-bioc-phyloseq

This will remove just the r-bioc-phyloseq package itself.

Uninstall r-bioc-phyloseq and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove r-bioc-phyloseq

This will remove the r-bioc-phyloseq package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for r-bioc-phyloseq then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge r-bioc-phyloseq

Or similarly, like this r-bioc-phyloseq

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove r-bioc-phyloseq
