How To Uninstall r-cran-ftrading On Debian 9

To uninstall r-cran-ftrading just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just r-cran-ftrading

GNU R package for financial engineering -- fTradingDebian 9.0gnu-r3010.78-2
sudo apt-get remove r-cran-ftrading

This will remove just the r-cran-ftrading package itself.

Uninstall r-cran-ftrading and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove r-cran-ftrading

This will remove the r-cran-ftrading package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for r-cran-ftrading then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge r-cran-ftrading

Or similarly, like this r-cran-ftrading

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove r-cran-ftrading
