How To Uninstall r-cran-httpuv On Debian 9

To uninstall r-cran-httpuv just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just r-cran-httpuv

GNU R package of HTTP and WebSocket Server LibraryDebian 9.0gnu-r1.3.3-3
sudo apt-get remove r-cran-httpuv

This will remove just the r-cran-httpuv package itself.

Uninstall r-cran-httpuv and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove r-cran-httpuv

This will remove the r-cran-httpuv package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for r-cran-httpuv then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge r-cran-httpuv

Or similarly, like this r-cran-httpuv

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove r-cran-httpuv
