How To Uninstall r-cran-matrixmodels On Debian 9

To uninstall r-cran-matrixmodels just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just r-cran-matrixmodels

GNU R package for sparse and dense matrix modelsDebian 9.0gnu-r0.4-1-1
sudo apt-get remove r-cran-matrixmodels

This will remove just the r-cran-matrixmodels package itself.

Uninstall r-cran-matrixmodels and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove r-cran-matrixmodels

This will remove the r-cran-matrixmodels package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for r-cran-matrixmodels then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge r-cran-matrixmodels

Or similarly, like this r-cran-matrixmodels

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove r-cran-matrixmodels
