How To Uninstall r-cran-pbapply On Debian 9

To uninstall r-cran-pbapply just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just r-cran-pbapply

GNU R package providing progress bars for vectorized R functionsDebian 9.0gnu-r1.3-1-1
sudo apt-get remove r-cran-pbapply

This will remove just the r-cran-pbapply package itself.

Uninstall r-cran-pbapply and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove r-cran-pbapply

This will remove the r-cran-pbapply package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for r-cran-pbapply then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge r-cran-pbapply

Or similarly, like this r-cran-pbapply

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove r-cran-pbapply
