How To Uninstall r-cran-pwt On Debian 9

To uninstall r-cran-pwt just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just r-cran-pwt

GNU R package for the Penn World Tables (version 5.6 to 7.1)Debian 9.0gnu-r7.1.1-2
sudo apt-get remove r-cran-pwt

This will remove just the r-cran-pwt package itself.

Uninstall r-cran-pwt and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove r-cran-pwt

This will remove the r-cran-pwt package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for r-cran-pwt then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge r-cran-pwt

Or similarly, like this r-cran-pwt

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove r-cran-pwt
