How To Uninstall r-cran-qtl On Debian 9

To uninstall r-cran-qtl just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just r-cran-qtl

GNU R package for genetic marker linkage analysisDebian 9.0gnu-r1.40-8-1
sudo apt-get remove r-cran-qtl

This will remove just the r-cran-qtl package itself.

Uninstall r-cran-qtl and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove r-cran-qtl

This will remove the r-cran-qtl package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for r-cran-qtl then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge r-cran-qtl

Or similarly, like this r-cran-qtl

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove r-cran-qtl
