How To Uninstall r-cran-randomfields On Debian 9

To uninstall r-cran-randomfields just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just r-cran-randomfields

GNU R simulation and analysis of random fieldsDebian 9.0gnu-r3.1.36-1
sudo apt-get remove r-cran-randomfields

This will remove just the r-cran-randomfields package itself.

Uninstall r-cran-randomfields and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove r-cran-randomfields

This will remove the r-cran-randomfields package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for r-cran-randomfields then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge r-cran-randomfields

Or similarly, like this r-cran-randomfields

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove r-cran-randomfields
