How To Uninstall r-cran-surveillance On Debian 9

To uninstall r-cran-surveillance just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just r-cran-surveillance

GNU R package for the Modeling and Monitoring of Epidemic PhenomenaDebian 9.0gnu-r1.13.0-1
sudo apt-get remove r-cran-surveillance

This will remove just the r-cran-surveillance package itself.

Uninstall r-cran-surveillance and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove r-cran-surveillance

This will remove the r-cran-surveillance package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for r-cran-surveillance then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge r-cran-surveillance

Or similarly, like this r-cran-surveillance

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove r-cran-surveillance
