How To Uninstall r-mathlib On Debian 9

To uninstall r-mathlib just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just r-mathlib

GNU R standalone mathematics libraryDebian 9.0gnu-r3.3.3-1
sudo apt-get remove r-mathlib

This will remove just the r-mathlib package itself.

Uninstall r-mathlib and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove r-mathlib

This will remove the r-mathlib package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for r-mathlib then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge r-mathlib

Or similarly, like this r-mathlib

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove r-mathlib
