How To Uninstall r-other-amsmercury On Debian 9

To uninstall r-other-amsmercury just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just r-other-amsmercury

sudo apt-get remove r-other-amsmercury

This will remove just the r-other-amsmercury package itself.

Uninstall r-other-amsmercury and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove r-other-amsmercury

This will remove the r-other-amsmercury package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for r-other-amsmercury then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge r-other-amsmercury

Or similarly, like this r-other-amsmercury

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove r-other-amsmercury
