How To Uninstall rabbit-mode On Debian 9

To uninstall rabbit-mode just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just rabbit-mode

Emacs-lisp rabbit-mode for writing RD document using RabbitDebian 9.0x112.1.9-2
sudo apt-get remove rabbit-mode

This will remove just the rabbit-mode package itself.

Uninstall rabbit-mode and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove rabbit-mode

This will remove the rabbit-mode package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for rabbit-mode then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge rabbit-mode

Or similarly, like this rabbit-mode

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove rabbit-mode
