How To Uninstall rabbit On Debian 9

To uninstall rabbit just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just rabbit

presentation tool using RD, a simple text formatDebian 9.0x112.1.9-2
sudo apt-get remove rabbit

This will remove just the rabbit package itself.

Uninstall rabbit and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove rabbit

This will remove the rabbit package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for rabbit then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge rabbit

Or similarly, like this rabbit

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove rabbit
