How To Uninstall raster3d On Debian 9

To uninstall raster3d just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just raster3d

tools for generating images of proteins or other moleculesDebian 9.0science3.0-3-2+b1
sudo apt-get remove raster3d

This will remove just the raster3d package itself.

Uninstall raster3d and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove raster3d

This will remove the raster3d package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for raster3d then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge raster3d

Or similarly, like this raster3d

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove raster3d
