How To Uninstall rasterio On Debian 9

To uninstall rasterio just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just rasterio

Command line tool for investigating geospatial rastersDebian 9.0python0.36.0-1
sudo apt-get remove rasterio

This will remove just the rasterio package itself.

Uninstall rasterio and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove rasterio

This will remove the rasterio package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for rasterio then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge rasterio

Or similarly, like this rasterio

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove rasterio
