How To Uninstall rat On Debian 9

To uninstall rat just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just rat

Unicast and multicast voice-over-IP applicationDebian 9.0net4.2.22-4
sudo apt-get remove rat

This will remove just the rat package itself.

Uninstall rat and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove rat

This will remove the rat package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for rat then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge rat

Or similarly, like this rat

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove rat
